For Earth Day we read Curious George Plants a Tree, and (one of my favorites) The Water Hole. The older kiddos made paintings of the earth and the babies got to play with paint in a mess free, sensory way. We played with playdoh and plastic animals, making tracks in the playdoh, and we talked about our favorite ones. After circle time was done we watched an episode of one of our favorite shows, Ask The Storybots, and learned all about how to reduce, reuse and recycle.
